Hey 0905, here's the packing list for those who need a guideline of what things to bring for tmr :)

What to bring:
- 3 to 4 sets of clothings (for those staying over)
- Soap and shampoo
- Towel for bathing
- At least $35 for those staying over
- Jacket (optional)
- Whistle (if you have)
- Torchlight (if you have)

*For those not staying over, pls do bring an extra set of clothing as there will be wet games :P

** Those in charge of the logistics for games and VCDs, pls rmb to bring them! :P

NOTE : PLS BRING CLASS TEE AS WE CAN WEAR AS A CLASS ON THE SECOND DAY :) WE CAN TAKE A CLASS PHOTO TOO. PLs bring camera if you have :)

Details about our chalet: single-storey units, with sheltered pavilions around the BBQ areas

- a living room set with TV & games table; dining area;

- 2 air-conditioned bedrooms with 6 beds (2 single and 2 double-deck), wardrobes, dressers, bedside tables & wall fans;

- 2 toilets/bathrooms with shower heater;

- BBQ pit and a fully equipped kitchen.

Guys one room, girls one room :) [safety precaution]

Facilities in the chalet: a giant fun pool with jacuzzis, children’s playroom (-.-), arcade room, a multi-purpose court and our aloha café by the pool.

LASTEST UPDATE:
1. No news that pasir ris park is affected by the oil spills :) We still can play water! :P

2. Pls start saving money as we are collecting $15 dollars on monday, and save money for bike rents and food on the actual day :)

Yeah on the 3rd of june im suppose to meet ah gong and ah ma and body guard for PW, then realised ah ma go rebond her hair and now she look so chi-na lah...
then we were suppose to meet at urm Hougang MRT.

first tym took the circle line, it was tootally amazing
the smell is like so airport. Then ah man and hou biao biao was late then is like ah gong talking so loud on the phone " Lao po~" smth is just so wrong
then went up the ah gong's hse =P
then ah ma pushed me in so weird rite?

then outta the darkness saw smth red... think it was fa shi....
then kaboom pop here and there and some springy thing pop outta nowhere
wow first tym in my life is a surprise party =)
yeah so nice of them..

Hey guys sorry for posting this late...

So basically we're gonna do a dustbin.But I'm not sure whether it's just an ordinary dustbin or a recycling bin cause recycling bins usually have more than one compartment to dispose waste of different materials...The box u see with the labels red,green and yellow is something Shabnam and I thought of.But of course this is a class effort so we need everyone's opinion.We'll find some time to explain all the details.

And so sorry I know the scan's small and stuff.Basically,the product we're making needs to be:

I'm sorry for not letting you know sooner... but the SFSC says that they only have 8 tutees available at the moment. and durng school holidays, there is no nd for tutoring. plus, weekday timings are latest 7pm and weekends end in the afternoon, around 1 to 2pm. if u have any enquiries, i suggest you call the FSC itself. really sorry, i can't remember everything. i'll try to call the ang mo kio FSC as well to check whether their timings are flexible anot.. just find out some things for yourself k? i'm not always free. sorry.

By the way, ALL of the voluntary work I found are on the mentoring and tutoring of primary *children* or secondary school #youths#.

Please take note of the PLACE(well, the nearest MRT station to the centre, to be more precise), the TIME, the DAY, and the BENEFICIARIES I put up here. These are 4 very important things to take note of. The length of commitment I will not put up, as mostly are a minimum of a year. And it's good to be continuous as well, otherwise your tutee would suffer after changing tutors. But still, it's in the decriptions. The more detailed descriptions are in the web pages which I saved and sent to the class email. Do check the email please. Create another post like the previous one, with your name and index number, and tell me which you prefer. I'll number them.

i would like to take this chance to thank everyone for the efforts put into the PE project (this goes to both grps), making our class's project THE MOST outstanding one of ALL! :D YAYNESS!

one of our friends, Hwee Ying, has won the top position in this year's InC.ny event.

Her description of the design is:
The mascot is a typical student drawn in the form of a cat, with features of the cat's tail and ears. Cats are curious animals. We should adopt this characteristic which will drive us to acquire more knowledge and be innovative in all our endeavors just like the light bulb which signifies innovative ideas. We may be ordinary but we can create great innovation. The student wears the PE attire which is worn by both boys and girls, showing that anyone can be innovative on equal footing. The shadow with NY's motto depicts the process of building our ideas that enables us to strive for our very best in whatever we do.

It's amanda here again. And, yes, I am soulle, don't mistake me for someone else. Right, so here's the deal. Either we do this as a class, or we all get separated into groups. Since the majority voted for class, we'll do as a class? I'm having doubts, really. I honestly need you guys to help me out here. I was thinking that most of us will do together then the rest do their own stuff, but that'll be like so wrong!!! The class should be bonding, not chasing people out to do their own thing. So, here's what I want to know.

ARE WE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER OR NOT?

I'm posing this question to all, especially those who voted to split. I want you to make the decision yourself, weigh the opportunity cost if you'd like, but I want YOU to tell ME what you want. No point forcing you people, I don't want an unhappy class.

Oh, here's another point I sincerely would like you to consider. I'm sorry if I'm being selfish, but there's alot of planning for ME to do if we split. Think of me too okay? Okay everyone. Two things to mention here in this particular post.

One, the GP web blog.

Here's the website for the web blog. It's fairly easy to use. Just sign in at geted.21classes.com/ and you'll get to this page geted.21classes.com/weblogs/overview. Click on New entry and put in your reflection like any other blogs. The webpage is quite lag, so be patient. I have to warn you that that website is the worst blogsite I've ever been to. So if you want to upload anything, upload somewhere else and hotlink it to the blog. Of course, you can just type in your reflection. The thing is, someone please upload their reflection NOW, so it won't seem like our class, or more specifically me, is well, slow..

Two, the NYAA activities.

Next, the NYAA activities. There will be a vote first for whether you want the class to split into groups to carry out activities within each group interest, or for the whole class to do one activity together. The activities that are suggested are these:

1. Kayaking
2. Rock climbing
3. Archery
4. Ice-skating

Just so everyone knows, all these activities require some form of payment, most of the time in cash. All are free to suggest and point out any new ideas. It could be a sport or any of the like. As long as it's something that is physical. I don't think pool or billiard or whatever you call it is acceptable.

Furthermore, all of us will be working on the GOLD award. Take note, it's the GOLD award. I confirmed with the NYAA personnel already, he said we can start straight from the GOLD award. So there you have it. We'll most probably finish the award by 2nd term next year. And please go to this website if you have any more enquiries. www.nyaa.org

Or else, email me or give me a hardcopy of the list of questions you have. I'll email the person again. Giving me questions or information verbally will NOT work. I have SHORT TERM MEMORY. since the winning colour is maroon, i just take it that it is the chosen one

with some suggestions from the class mates, i have placed "Alrightt"
in the front as shown
as you guys should noe where " alrightt" is from i shall not explain here
why double t cause it is pronounced tt by Mg

As for the back of the shirt the design is the second one from here

Mr. Mg [should noe who it represents]

0905 is in gold

and for each individual, your own shirt, your name would be highlighted gold as shown for my case.

so is see you guys want anot loh.....

so i added another option for the polls the side.

although i not sure Mr goh would let us use his trademark and Mg

Hello friends, its Nidia here!
Just reminding all of you of the considerable amount of workload we have. haha!
for this week, we have the following homework:
1. Maths tutorial.
2. Econs tutorial.
3. MRP for GP!
4. Bio tutorial.
5. Chemisty tutorial, assignment and exercise!

And we have the following tests:
1. Econs: nature and scope, excluding appendix! :D
2. GP: about the 2 newspaper articles which all of you can find in litespeed.

And also, don't forget that we still have to revise for:
1. Biology: Cell surface membrane
2. Chemistry *the topics are getting more and more unrecognizable:(
(if there are stuff which i forget to post, please help yourself and edit this post, hee.)

Haha! its a lot this week, i know!
Hope that the workload for next week is lesser,

that time Shabnam and Isabelle and I drew on the white board was not clear enough i believe

isabelle: Ooh this class tee themed survivor is sometng apt that describes our class personality whereby we withstand all challenges and obstacles as we overcome it as a united class. OUTWIT means that we study hard. Outplay means we play hard too. Finally outshine means that we are able to exceed our expectations and maximise our potential. There are post it on the classboard like biology and mathematics . and theres actually a chair under the tree

Lastly,

any unhappiness or wadeva pls express at the tagboard,

Hi people.Here are the pics for today's "Birthday Bash" for C.K and Ying Min XD

Ok fine I know it's not a lot.If any of you took more photos of this event,feel free to post them on the blog =)

Anyway right need to thank a few people:

1)Haziqah and Shabnam for accompanying me to AMK Hub to get the birthday cake.

2)Mr Goh for helping us keep the cake in a fridge when we're having our lessons even though he was MIA after school.

3)That mysterious female teacher whose name escapes me for helping us take the cake out of the fridge when Mr Goh wasn't there.

4)Of course 0905 for helping to distract the birthday girl and boy,for cooperating in signing the birthday cards and for participating in today's birthday bash.Without you guys,it wouldn't have been successful,so thanks again =))

I also need to apologize to those who couldn't eat the cake cause it contained alcohol.My sincere apologies for that.Hopefully,we can get cakes in the future which don't contain alcohol so that EVERYONE can enjoy.

Also those who have yet to pay the money for the cake,please do so ASAP to Haziqah.Those who didn't eat the cake don't have to pay for it.

And of course,before I forget...

Maths: Assignment 1, and perhaps try on chapter 2 tutorial =)
Econs: Econorave, and.. (are we supposed to do the 2 questions of economics? In our notebooks')
Bio: 'Attempt' tutorial (I supposed). Read bio lecture notes! (**Lectures are getting faster!), Print bio practical w/s, print bio file dividers (I think...)
